Sometimes you just need to stop, and enjoy the simple things like…

  • Sweat pants.
  • Birthday cake – preferably one you didn’t have to make yourself.
  • Hearing a new (fantastic) song on the radio.
  • Drive-thrus.
  • Finding dark chocolate in the pantry.
  • Meeting a new, nice neighbor.  (Yay Christina!)
  • White bread.  (Yes, let’s get real, it’s terrible for us but OH SO GOOD.)
  • Realizing you don’t have laundry to do.  (A momma can dream!)
  • Ordering in for dinner.
  • Getting the first lick of a new jar of peanut butter.
  • Getting a random kiss from your kids.
  • Putting extra butter on your popcorn.
